Why complain about the system? Why not hunt some of the awesome gos out there? The leh doesnt guarantee anything. If you put in for a 1.1:1 draw you can still not get it. Its all about luck i wont put in for anything over 5:1 and always put in for a good odds goat draw and ive drawn it 6 out of 7 years and i always feel good seeing atleast 1 "win" lol

Lucked out this year, got a Kootenay Group Moose Hunt and I need some help on my second successful draw. I got a Roosevelt Elk draw in 1-10 C, wondering if anyone can put me onto someone who would like to help me out on the area and where the bulls may be!! I am usually not this lucky!!

I got zip, but I'm not complaining. Over the years I've been drawn for two rosies, a couple moose, various doe draws, a goat and a sheep draw too. Never shot a moose, goat or sheep hunting those draws though.

I put in for a shared moose in 5-02 B and actually won lol, now just doing more homework to get as much info as possible!

moose 5-15B (NE of Quesnel Lake)

Put in for high odds, tough access because I'd rather have a challenge than be sitting on my ass at home.

Anyone who can recommend the best vehicle access to 5-15B for late October please PM me. There are a few recommendations from 5 years back but nothing recently.

Also, Antlerless mule in 5-05 but apparently that may be affected by the recent sup court decision re native land.

15 years ago...never see another hunter...5 years ago indians started nite hunting...no rez close by?
4 years ago..5 or 6 camps..last year..5 camps hunting during rut..even though their draw wasnt till end of Oct.couldnt go anywhere without guys claiming to be just grouse hunting....with a 7mm rem mag..


Tip.....if calling call on the backside of lakes...no access..no incidental drive by shootings of the bull your calling in..we could even have a Hbc get together lol..
