Saw a blacktail down here in the LML about a month ago that was all of that and more. It's too bad, he's too many peoples pet.
The measure of a man is not how much power he has, it's how he wields it.
Saw one yesterday and reached for the itelephone for a pic! Left it in the truck!
Knowledgeable shooters agree- The 375 Ruger is the NEW KING of all 375 caliber cartridges. ALL HAIL THE NEW KING!
Saw a nice one a couple weeks ago while bear hunting. Big body and the beginnings of a nice rack. What was even more interesting though is that he stuck half his body into a big hole in the ground and came up munching on dirt!
As a matter of fact.....yes.
Pic is from June 1st.
This buck is pushing 30" already with lots of time to fill out.
(note, his splits start well past his ears)
Could be a real hammer.
I have learned to not get too excited when I find a potential target buck like this one.
Getting pretty pictures of crankers is one thing.
Killing these nomadic monsters is another.
Hopefully he shows a few more times during his antler development.
Very curious to see how he ends up.
Could very well be a buck I will focus on.
Too early to tell.....who knows....could be a crab claw 4x4.....or a 3x3.
Always fun this time of yr!

Darn fine deer it will be. Believe it or not I saw a whitetail yesterday with antlers past his ears and had started to split already. Seen a few good mule deer lately too, the trail cam is out, hope it gets something good.
Very nice buck Ourea!
The blacktail I saw today looked nice, but not super impressive antlers. However I was a bit astonished at the size of his body. He looked young but was very big bodied for his age

Unreal buck Ourea! Thanks for posting!
I'm with you tho FD, I only just put down my first big game animal ever last month! So I will be happy with a spike! But one can still dream and work towards, that one day it will all come together on a cranker buck!
See the swing...hear the ding!
