Note this WT pawing and digging in the dirt....licking away.
Why is that when there is mineral block beside him?
There was a flavored "Buck Licker" block, where he is digging, that has dissolved into the soil.
This is why I am always trying various products and quantify the results.

He's not a big buck but he sure is cautious.

This is yet another reason why I run most cams on video.
I now know he is an uber cautious buck....I somewhat understand his personality.
Always helps to "know" an animal you are after!
He would be a tough one to kill.
Sure 358mag would be up to the task, if push came to shove, down the home stretch of the season.
That buck will need to have his wits about him if 358mag takes an interest.

Pulled my elk cam and dropped in a payload of ordnance for my friend.
