I do have a lynx tag in my pocket. Never thought about buying a bobcat tag as I rarely ever see them. Maybe see one every 3 or 4 years and I don't recall ever seeing one during the season. Lynx are far more common around these parts.

Beauty colors on the kitten Dana..
Saw a momma with kittens on the Camp 2 Rd. about 25 or so years ago. Momma and a couple of the kids all of a sudden noticed us and headed for the ditch, but one little guy was rolling around on his back like a kid playing for a couple minutes before he saw us too. The look on his face was priceless before he bailed for the ditch too. They are quite the neat critters. Good photo. Thanks for the photos (and memories)
It's only when you see a mosquito land on your testicles that you realize there are other ways to deal with problems than violence.
Really nice photos of the young bob cat, Dana.

Those are great pictures. Did you use a long range telephoto zoom, or were you able to get in relatively close to get the shots.
Great shots Steve....thanks for posting!!!
"I am fascinated by the wild, rough country where sheep are found. I love the long-continued excitement of the stalk. I even enjoy the disappointments and the frustrations, those stalks that go astray when the sheep have moved, and the wind changes". - JOC
