bushnell vs vortex give me your thoughts

well i am looking for a scope for a 300 win mag i just bought. Since i only ever really fire one or two shots with my rifle during hunting season i thought i would buy something i could have some fun with but would still do the trick hunting. I was looking at the bushnell 3200 5-15x40 with adjustable target turrets for 439 at wss. after some reserach i found the vortex website that lots ave been raving about and think i might have feel for the 6-24x50 crossfire with illum mil dot recticles and adjustable target turrets for a 299 on their webpage??? i know i am jumping into a target scope range were there is a lot of amazing scopes but my budget at the moment should keep my price down.. help

    Vortex Viper 3.5 -10 x 50 on my 300 w/m
Great scope , great glass , two thumbs up ,
    Fair price and great warranty.
Nothing wrong with a Bushnell , I'd just choose the Vortex of the 2.
I'd chose the Vortex over other leading brands myself but that pot has been stirred to many times for the 'ol die hards.

I would rather have my mother in law in a bear pit than a brother who shoots with a bushnell. Take the vortex.

Interesting point of view, but would not most of us have her in the bear pit anyways?

I'd pick the Vortex as well, but if I'm going to hunt with the rifle. I'd get a lower magnification...

this is a no brainer. Bushnell is not an option due to crap warranties.

Vortex or Leupold for this cat.

I got a 4-12 x 40mm leupold on my 30.06 and think it fits hunting and target shooting just fine.....

I got a 3-9x40 Vortex Viper and it is amazing.

I had a bushnell 6500 elite and it was ok, but i would take the vortex and replace the bushnell any day of the week. (which I did)

For the build quality of the scope I would get Vortex, for the price I would get Vortex, and the warrenty I would get Vortex.

    Just get the damn Vortex!
