This perception doesn't always work, case in point, last call at the club with no hook ups yet, beer goggles on, woman are all hot until you turn on the lights and then you wish you haven't even done that with your dogs di*k!
When it comes to animals my "crown" judgement has been great, always see twice as many animals but always gives me that browny sense to count and ensure legality of animal, ensure a good shot can be made and retrieval is possible without killing yourself!
Thank god for Crown and beer!
