Those Yankee whitetails are about the size of a coyote, so the antlers do look huge. Wouldn't he make a nice mount with that ear tag still in!

Nice rack, and it probably scores well, but Fisher-Dude nailed it, those southern deer are tiny. I've been to Texas a few times and honestly the deer aren't much bigger than an Island blacktail, not as deep bodied even, long skinny necks. I've had southerners I communicate with WOW over pics of a blacktail and remark about the body depth and size of shoulder. Some of their northern deer however rival our prairie deer for body size. All in what you're used to
