I've had giardia from the Northern Rockies...and yes, a great way to lose weight (15 lbs gone in 6 weeks!) but one of the roughest illnesses I've ever had. Filter, filter, filter!

Water was a key role out there, thats too bad to get sick on a trip like that but glad it all worked out!
