Day off from imaginary

Day off from imaginary getting ready regime for my imaginary sheep hunt This week completed over 20 imaginary miles of hiking with a set weight. next week upping the weight and more imaginary steep terrain. All this for my imaginary stone sheep hunt. lol .

lol all that matters is the pack weight coming out Ive buried and or burnt gear a few times lol to lighten the load going out are you closer to 65 pounds for your trip?
i had an air drop last year for food which is always weather dependent as was my case no food for 5 days till weather broke. sure was nice to be lighter hiking in \nice thing is i know the area your heading into. the area is alright packing into but packing out can be a bitch lol one hill in particular to get to the flats

I asked this earlier in the thread but maybe you didn’t see it.

Are you 56lbs including the weight of your rifle and poles? I always include everything that’s being carried by me except for the clothes and boots I’m wearing. So everything in or strapped to pack, rifle, binos strapped to chest, poles in hand. That always puts me right around 68-70lbs for a full 14-15 days.

If you are 55-56lbs all in for a couple week trip, I’d like to learn from your gear and food list. Over the years my biggest increase in pack weight has come from upgrades in optics. Better spotter, binos, tripod and scope have all added weight lol.
My food has been pretty consistent for awhile at 1.3 lbs per day.

This year I’m definitely going to use your string with strips of plastic bag system.
