Years ago a real fanatical alberta big horn hunter shared he likes to gain as much fat as possible while preparing for his sheep season. Clearly as a sheep hunter he would not have been obese. He wanted the spare fuel. Fat can be rocket fuel when the cells switch to fat burn. Made sense to me. A few extra pounds is no big deal if you have a long hunt in mind. Food for thought.
