Thanks. Reel is a penn battle ii. It's an 8000 series so holds lots of line and 30lbs max drag.

Some good action! Whats a pair of nylons cost these days? I haven't bought them in a while lol I've used those mesh squares they sell at the fishing store, they're tedious with eggs busting out the sides, always thought nylons would be way better...

I got them for $6 on Amazon. Saved me the embarrassment at the store haha. Those squares are good for salmon, but I like the nylons for sturgeon.

Good call, will do the same. The pike minnows always destroy my nylon squares, although I ocassionaly do hook one and send it back down��
