We always planned on feeding him raw once he was old enough. Now he is.. and I haven't done my research haha.
Anyone on here feed their dog raw? Any recommendations

I tried it, but I keep getting diarrhea. Not sure why it's so popular.
When in doubt, just pin it.
We've fed our Tollers Raw for the past 16 years.
Our youngest one has been having some GI problems recently so she's off raw until we sort it out. Looks like Giardia but waiting for confirmation.
Started out with make your own, now usually buy premade stuff from various manufacturers.
Check the stuff to make sure the contents and nutritional breakdown are listed.
Every now and then we'll buy a few chicken backs with necks for a meal.
Bones a couple of times a week for teeth and "recreation."
Research it, talk to your Vet and go from there.
Our dogs have done well on Raw - our first Toller passed away 2 months shy of 16 which is pretty old for a Toller.
Don't myself but a lot of people have mentioned this face book site is an excellent source https://www.facebook.com/groups/451782265003776/

Best price/quality in the LML...
Some raw dog food suppliers were taking the opportunity to off-load their waste meat and get $$ for fat they would be discarding... way too much fat in the mix I was getting from both Hopcott's and from Millennium Meat.
Hey we have had our dogs on Perfectly Raw for about 9 years now, best deal was at Fairplay in kensington with you calgary pet get you get 5% off. By far best bang for your buck and my dogs have had no issues. My mastiff is 10.5 and still going strong.
I feed raw food to my dog. He grew up on it for 2 years, then I switched him to kibble for about 5 years and now he is back on raw again.
He never saw kibble as food.
There are also different kinds of raw food.
Dogs are omnivores and need other things than meat in their diet.
I buy food from a butcher who grind meat, veggies and bone and make burger patties.
It's normal for dogs to have the runs when they are switched from kibble for a few days.
It stabilizes afterwards.
