Just spent the last 2 days with Nibel at the APA shop and facility in biggar. Wow was I surprised to see what goes into one of their bows. I built 2 bows right from the riser out and watched and helped Kyle assemble many more. So much of the build is done by hand infact all except the machining. Even the limb logos are silk screened on to each limb one at a time, spent this morning doing that with Dave and then I inserted the limb tip stabilizers in each limb one at a time 2 per limb about 70 limbs. Very impressive operation over all and it's very cool to meet the guys that make it happen. Was worth the trip from van isle to reinforce the reason I am APA crazy..... MADE IN CANADA by .... very cool.
I was in there 2 years ago.
was washing my truck at the carwash and glanced next door and there's the APA shop.
had to go over and have a look.
very cool place, I was quite impressed with their operation as well.
you gotta go to the gas station a couple doors down on the other side of the street, back towards downtown.
the chicken is awwwwesome.
what killed me though, was the daytime and nighttime booze prices.
Weather was great, no didn't think of getting a pic was drunk on my experience with APA, the gas station has Chester fried chicken and wedges. Hannigans next to APA was good grub and the pizza joint next to the hardware store, well awesome pizza. Never sampled the bevvys not much for that myself but there is a bar or two there.

ate at hannigans a couple times.
and the pizza place once i think.
we drank way more than we ate though, and that went on for a year.
i don't know how they get away with jacking the booze prices after 5pm.
