    Clinton Trip

    Heading down to Clinton for 4 days of chasing mulies. Anyone got any advice on areas. Haven't hunted there for over 20 years. I know its a little late to be asking for directions, but what the hell.

    Other than having a good time, I wouldn't waste my time going back to Clinton. We saw lots of deer but they are so spooky that it is virtually impossible to get a shot. had one chance at a mulie buck but missed with the black powder. Lots of hunters everywhere. The deer down there have become so educated that as soon as they even hear something out of the norm they are on the run. Normally does and fawns are not that spooky, but these ones sure as hell were.
    The one good thing that came out of the trip was that we got to meet another HBC member. Met Steelco from Langley. We got together with him and his partner on Sunday evening for dinner in 70 mile and had a great BS session.
