About a 170m shot to the side of the neck when he turned his head around to see what the noise was. Didn't go twenty. Had the guts out of him before he even knew he was dead as its was almost dark and -30 with the wind.
This buck actually grew instead of shrunk like most do. Still a young deer too.

Caddis had a thread about making it easier to post pictures with the old HBC formatting. He walks you through it. I didn’t read it as I use post image from my phone and it works great and is easy.

Select the hotlink for forums option.
Post the like provided but delete the last 3 letters of the link which say [/url], see below.
When you delete the url a full sized picture will appear. Easy peasy.

Never mind the last part about deleting the url, they must have updated their software. Just select and post hotlink for forums and the large image will appear.Get the post image app, its free.

Here is a buck i rattled in on Nov 17th. I shot him low in the brisket and he ran about 100yds and came to rest in a little opening in the woods. Funny how the pics never seem to do the moment justice compared to my memory.
