    identifcation

    the regs say that you have to leave a wing attached when transporting any gamebird.My son and I shot 20 grouse[ over a week] on our hunting trip, we ate 8 and brought the rest home.I clean grouse by standing on the wings and pulling the legs, so you end up with just the breast-which is where the meat is anyway.I haven't plucked a grouse in years.So- the question is,if this is the way I prepare grouse,am I breaking the law if I bring some home?[ we were well within our daily and possession limits]

    you just have to leave 1 wing on the bird and no other feathers so you would be fine if you did that

    ya if u step on the wings and pull the legs ur should have the breast with the wings attached still break one off and leave the other one on...then its all good...
