huge 2 point buck...

i was out camping this past weekend...and we had spotted a nice buck that had to be at least 300 yards away on a ridge...i could tell it was a buck right away and figured he was a good size so we put the high power spotting scope on it and this buck was a huge two point....i know he will probably have a bit of growth left this year but i doubt he will get to 4 this year...this deer is going to grow up to be a big deer if now one shoots him this year...wish i would have had a good dig cam to take a pic of him

How wide was he? there was a two point shot up here about 3 years ago, that went 26" inside, and had 12" tines. its funny how the deer will get good width, and hight, and weight, but ocasionally only put out two points. Guess its just bad genetics.

i couldnt tell ya for sure how wide he was but if i had to guess i would say easily over 20 inches probably between 20 and 25....i thought for sure it was a 4 point till we put the spottin scope on him...
