I fish the late fall runs, for a relocated Ontario boy I think it's great. We have hauled in a bunch of monsters (by back east standards) but they are pretty white. Great spot is right near Puntledge Park, slip float and orange yarn.

Walked along the river by 5th street on Tuesday and saw several nice (20+") fish cruising along the shoreline, don't know what they were but definately healthy looking.
Not certain but I think it's too early for the fishable spawning runs yet.
