Well guys yesterday started off the most important day of the year here in south eastern Alberta, BOW SEASON. My good friend and fellow hunting partner set out in search for a nice trophy antelope as you only get drawn usually every seven years so you want a memorable one. We put the stalk on a few but as you would imagine the bucks have hearded up their does and you now have to contend with sixty eyes keeping watch instead of two or four. It was a memorable day as we stalked one after another and at dusk while stalking are last one to be spotted and burned by a nice 180 class muley made the trip that much better. In all it was a good day hunting and enjoying the great outdoors. Hope to hear about all your trips and hopefully my next post will have some pics of downed antelope or a nice big buck.
