anyone know if big qualicum is running

so as the topic says im wondering if anything is running on the big qualicum yet and if so are they past the ladder yet cause i dont wana ride my bike all the way there if there isnt anything running past the gate..



also if anyone know if the fish are at the mouth of the englishmen yet that would be even beter cause its so much closer to home

I'd say its a little early going on past experiences.... usually the last week of aug and first week of sept. is the best for the Big Q.

Check the reg's. I've only fished it a couple of times. Both times were the beginning of October for Coho and it was awesome. A real circus though. Got to get there way before light to get a spot.

As of last week its been decent in front of the Big Q.

the big Q has slowed, but the little Q is smoken hot was out 2 nights ago and the wife and I had our limit in 1 hour largest was hers of 34lbs and the smallest was 26 and we lost 3 others because of complete idiots, mp15 was the lure of choice with a 30 to 42 inch leader flasher color did not matter trolling speed of 1.9 to 2.4 (Gps)
