Heres a photo of myself holding a nice wild Steelhead a friend of mine caught today in a local river. It was 34" long. Any guesses on what it would have weighed? I was thinking 10 - 12 lbs?

Heyy Darren Thats a nice lookin fish.! well done.
Nicely done. On average a 30" fish is ten pounds and add a pound for each inch up until about 36-37 inches. So I'd guess 13ish pounds
How did you catch it? I really want to get into flyfishing for steelhead when we move. I am giving a try for sea run brown trout here in NL in the next couple of weeks.

nice fish ... a little colored up, but nice nonetheless
what river were you fishing on
The Fish was caught in the Oyster, using a spinner.
