Rabbit hunting near/in Manning Park

Hi gang:

I'm staying at a friend's cabin on the east side of Manning Park this weekend, and may have a few hours on Saturday or Sunday morning to get out rabbit hunting. I'll have snowshoes with me.

Any recommendations on nearby areas that'd be suitable for a rabbit hunt? It'd be best if I'm able to park on a road/highway and walk in.
