One track mind
Well the most uneventful goose hunt ever to report. Set up by 7, lots of swans flying by, stayed til 11:30 and no geese. We never patterned the geese before going out so they are obviously coming off the estuary later in the day or evening. Saw 2 geese in a field 400 yards away with about 200 trumpeters and they never flew back to the estuary. We were waitin' for them! Oh well, got the blinds all set up for next time, will have to drive by the estuary and see how many are even around right now. Hopefully get out again in the next week. Hope someone else's opening day was a success.
