It was a good day for sure.
I took the Gadwall shortly after I shot the Mallard. My hunting partner's daughter took the Bufflehead on the same pond.
Thanks for posting the pics, 3 banded birds of different species in a day? Wow!
Here's my mallard with the same sequence of numbers at the start of the band.

BTW, the link you sent me was to a site I was told about a few weeks back but the guy didn't send me an email!

How much does a band like that go for on Ebay?

that gadwall has nice feathers for tying flies.
We'll let you know in a couple days. I've seen them go from $20 to $100usd.. I guess guys collect them and other guys want them to put on the lanyard holding their duck call.Originally Posted by symon

Nice ducks, Congratulations Boo and Dano. There is nothing like a day in the marsh.

oh yes there is and it is a day in the woods
I just did a search and I was quite surprised what I found.Originally Posted by symon

For the last 30 years I have been giving away any bands I recovered after I reported the data.Originally Posted by MB_Boy

After seeing what some collectors will pay for certain bands on Ebay I decided to list 5 that I had sitting in a box on my reloading bench. I will let you know what the final prices are but right now those five bands - with 2 more days to go - will pay for a VX1 or Elite 3200 scope! If they keep going it may be a VX2 or a 4200! LoL Not too shabby for something I usually give away.
