Have a feeling I may have to load up the pontoon boat and wear hip waders.
It's pretty warm up there this year.

I wouldn't be heading out on any ice up there right now, wasn't it 12 degrees the other day???

I haven't spent too much time ice fishing on that side of the river, but I do remember a small lake out that way about half way between Knouff and the Barriere Lakes that we had a lot of sucess at.

I'm going to call my buddy up there tonight and I'll ask him if he remembers the name, and I'll see if I can locate it on a map for ya.

I'm send you a private message with the results

Hey Shoey, have you been to Dairy Lakes recently? They were not to bad in the 80's. Fred

Not recently, I spent a lot of time in that area when I lived up there. The Fishing was pretty good. We never did too much ice fishing up there, we normally went to the lakes along Highway 5A in case we saw any yotes, or up Lac-Du-Bois.

I might try and make it up for the Lions club fishing tourney on Shumway.

    Got home this afternoon.
Fished Sunday at Knouff. Sun was shining when we arrived, temp. was -2, beautiful day. Ice was about 12 inches thick.
My Dad got a nice fish as soon as his line hit the bottom.
The clouds rolled in, and wind picked up. We stayed for about 4 hours, not another bite.
