Never bother with grouse when deer hunting. Spoils that hunt. When I do hunt them which is mainly before deer season I use a Savage 410/22. Great gun.
I hunted many times on opening of deer season and have passed up many grouse.now when I see a grouse I let them have it with my 16ga Wingmaster, or my 22.
I will shoot grouse with my bow some times while deer hunting but if I am in an area were I think I might spook a deer doing it I let them be.

You betcha l will shoot em, where ever legal. At one time l cared about the noise and potentially moving animals out of the area, but l don't worry about it too much anymore. If l am traveling l have a nice little savage combo that looks after ditch chickens beautifully!
Blow guns....no haven't heard, but if stealth is desired, good old slingshots and bearings are deadly.......

Blowguns also commonly reffered to as Yaqua blowguns are prohibited under the criminal code.

Section 12 of Part 3 of the schedule of the Regulations Prescribing Certain Firearms and other Weapons, Components and Parts of Weapons, Accessories, Cartridge Magazines, Ammunition and Projectiles as Prohibited or Restricted prescribes that "[t]he device commonly known as `Yaqua Blowgun', being a tube or pipe designed for the purpose of shooting arrows or darts by the breath, and any similar device" are prohibited weapons. In the Tribunal's view, section 12 is only intended to cover devices that are "weapons" as defined in the Criminal Code. In the Tribunal's view, it is clear from the evidence that the product in issue is not used, designed to be used or intended for use in causing death or injury to any person or for the purpose of threatening or intimidating any person. Accordingly, the product in issue is not a weapon and, thus, does not fall within section 12.
