I tagged a nice 3x3 whitetail (actually a larger deer than a 4x4 my wife got last year) with my crossbow from about 14 yards away. It was my first with a bow, and I was tickled pink with it. I'm officially addicted now.

Definatly. I managed to spend 6 great days in the alpine chasing bucks in early Sept. Had several great weeks chasing immature bull moose, Spend a bunch of time chasing bucks in Region 8. Passed up some small bucks, saw some great country. Ended up not getting out for goat, but maybe next year.
Oh ya, and I took this guy.

I got close but she was a no-meat-in-the-freezer year for us! Next year I'll be 19 and can hunt by myself so I'll get out more. Next year!

I got one Big Blacktail and two does with my bow this year. My best year yet...Steve.

got to full draw on a few decent bucks in the late season (damn willows ) but ended up putting a meat deer in the freezer when time was running short which is a success in my books!

Got a white tail doe with my bow. Couldn't get close enough to a buck for a clear shot.

Zilcho but if I really wanted a bear I would have tried harder. Deer have eluded me so far but have had a rifle in my hands most of the time.
