I just got back from a mulie hunt in 5-03, not much to see there, but we did manage to pull a nice 3X2, but when we got home to carve it up, we noticed some pits or flaps under each eye...just wonderin what the heck they are. I'm new to hunting, this was only my second trip, but my partner has been going for many years and this is the first time hes seen this... any help? much thx

They are like a tear duct I assume. I believe it is like a scent gland.
