I'm curious to what date the season is going to open this year. Do they usually open it on the first Saturday in October? I'm thinking of putting Marshall in for his Junior WC on the 4th - 5th of October. It would really suck if it was the opener weekend of the duck season.

It has always opened here on the thanksgiving weekend which I believe is the weekend after your junior fc. Not sure about on the island though... check last year and if it's the same as ours, you'll be ok.

I just checked and last year region 1 and region 2 started on the 6th of October so I'm hoping it all works out. It'll be a good practice for him if the trial is only a couple days from the opener.

Marc, looks to me that the opener in reg. 2 will be on Sat., Oct 11 th. If the island is in sync then everything will work out.
