I am going to be hunting the penticton/ summerland area this year with my pointer and am concerned about the cactus. what do dog people do to protect your animals feet? any assistance appreciated.

The lewis dog boot has worked very well for my dogs when their feet get a little raw. the only draw back was when there was a lot of snow on the ground the boots were a little slippy.
