    Hunting Blade Suggestions?

    Hey everyone,
I need a good hunting blade suggestions— something with solid edge retention, good balance, and built to last through tough seasons. I don’t mind investing a bit more if the quality’s there.
Lately, I’ve been eyeing some of the Noblie custom blade work, and it looks impressive — classic profiles with detailed finishes and premium materials. Anyone here actually used one of their blades out in the field?
    Also any other recommendations.
    Thanks

I really like knives and some of those custom or semi custom knives are a work of art !
Having said that easy to loose a knife when dressing out an animal .
I like Moras or a Victorinox

Yes this, along with a fixed blade knife.

There’s plenty of really good custom knife makers in Canada and one big shop that I always recommend in Nova Scotia called Grohmann. Their knives are the best I’ve used.

Here’s another Canadian option for a replaceable blade rig made in BC.

I would be looking on a website dedicated to knives and blades, hard to think you will get great advice here.

Honestly pretty hard to beat a Morakniv, they are cheap as hell, Swedish steel, hold an edge like crazy, have bright colours and a robust bullet proof rubber non slip grip. They are function over and above everything. Sure you can spend $500 on. A knife but for $30 you can get a pretty decent one that does the trick. Save your money for optics and good bullets.

I use a fixed blade buck 105, that I got when I was 18 yrs old. I have 2 of those cheap Moras, which hone up very easily, and get sharp. I also have a outdoors edge razor knife, with the interchangeable blades. I have an oldtimer fixed blade, with the original sharade steel, but its a big ole thing, and hangs down to far on my hip. I have a havlon razor, which I use as a tag/document clip. moosin

To the contrary, you get hunters on here that have first hand experience with certain makes and models..
