Sadly, the fire season begins, not only on BC; I was in Regina last Friday and the entire city was full of thick smoke.

Bad part of the fires is the people who exist on the income from them start them.
They stopped saying what caused the fire on some websites. People versus lightning.
I wonder why?
There is video's on you tub catching people starting them.

There are several fires up here in the North East of the province. Kelly lake might be close to losing their homes, There is another one North of Goodlow, and several in Alberta.
Makes one wonder how they got started as we haven't had any Lightning up here.
Maybe, like others have said, man made.. idiots if that's the case.

There was fire today in the area I am working in (Okanagan). Some bloke thought it was a great day to cut firewood in the slash. Luckily it was reported quickly by nearby residents.
It's getting hot out there and the wind makes it worse.
