I'll post a report later. Biggest one I've gotten by far. Good story.
My butcher doesn't do sausages. Who from Kamloops to Vancouver will do sausages? I've already got a lot of meat in the freezer and would love to do some as sausages/pepperoni this time.
And is Weins the guy everyone recommends for a rug?

Ray Weins has done great work for me in the past. I have a hide with him now that is being tanned.
As for butchers, Iron Custom Butcher has been getting a lot of social media attention from the B.C. hunting YouTubers, so they must be good. I haven’t personally used their services, but I would do so if I didn’t feel like butchering my own.

I talked to the iron butcher guy a couple years ago. I'll give them a call. Gary's in Kamloops will do it too - I called them

Contact lower Nicola meats.
good price great sausage you just have to debone yourself and bring it in bags or containers.
if you need a local butcher as well PM me.
Ive got all my bear sausage/smokies/kielbasa etc done at Lower Nicola meats for 7 years now. Never a complaint and always the first meat eaten in the house.
as for taxidermy, Ray Wiens is located right by lower Nicola meats so you can kill two birds with one stone. You won’t find a better taxidermist.

I had sausages made from moose at the place ( Mike )The Iron Butcher is affiliated with . Meadow Country Meats
on the Ford Detour Road in Pitt Meadows . Cole and Mackenzie are there .
Anyway the sausages turned out great . I used to cut meat for a living but IM not a sausage maker

you could just get it ground and spice it later perhaps? or get it spiced and ground but bagged instead of in links...some butchers wont stuff them cuz it takes too much time but will spice and bag it like burger meat
