Elk thoughts

I’m not anticipating getting an LEH moose draw this year . So I’m thinking of elk hunting possibly putting in for an LEH . I know I should do my homework but are there any rifle LEH on Vancouver Island ?

There's a new snare feature in LEH around Cowichan. Pretty awesome if I get that one. It's right by the main hiking trail.

yes check the leh regs for what ones are not archery only, all those ones are rifle

Haha. A moose draw usually has the odds between 0.8 to 1 and 50 to 1. An island elk draw is normally between 50 to 1 to 120 to 1. So the OP has low confidence in getting a moose draw, but thinks an island elk draw is more likely to succeed?
