I am not a gear junkie but I do appreciate good gear. Whichever you buy get the best battery life. Many have bragged of such and such brightness and such and such run time but its based off the lowest setting. Been ****ed in the dark by a few good brands and have to hold my pelican flashlight in my mouth to finish the job. Get the longest run time for sure. You run it on the highest setting and the battery disappears.

If we are all equal why do you demand special treatment?

I have Black Diamond, Petzel Tikka, Nebo micro, Princeton Tec and a few others over the years and been happy with them. But, I was reading Rokslide one day and a few guys were recommending an Amazon special.

    So I bought a couple...for $25.

I have used them for the past three months walking the dog at 0530, ice fishing and just playing around at night comparing them to the others. For the price, they are amazing! Bright light, narrow and wide beam, bright red, can dim it by waving the hand and is highly adjustable. The one strike against it is it is not light weight and kind of bulky, kind of like my old Black Diamond.

One is in my pack as a back up and the other has replaced my walking light.

    Cheers

Have used them all. Peax equipment headlamp by far the best. Little pricey, but worth it. One of those things, buy once, cry once

I have used the Ledlenser for about 10 years now and have loved them. I have both the rechargeable one and one that takes batteries. Both have good run times and are waterproof.

I use these guys older model for walking the dogs at night a couple of hundred days a year. One80 Light - No Blind Spots I will never go back to a beam type headlamp, the led strip lights give so much better walking light, you can see all around you including down to your feet without moving your head to point in a certain direction. My only complaint is the bespoke batteries they use, I would rather have replaceable 18650's. Animal eyes reflect from over 150yds too so they can't sneak up on you if your not looking directly at them. I see some cheaper ones like this on Amazon and Facebook marketplace but have no experience with them. Why Mechanic & DIYers – Othemo

I've been using quite a few lighting products from...COAST. very well made and have held up really well over the years. I would definitely buy more of there lights and recommend them.
