    Vintage Decoys

Curious to know if anyone can tell me anything about these old goose decoys. I came upon these a couple years ago and they've just been sitting in my shop. I've got 3 different types. A few thin plastic decoys by America's best decoys. A bunch are in pretty rough shape with cracks and what not. A few decoys made with what seems like compressed paper. They're a smaller body and have some sort of maker mark but I can't make anything out about it. Lastly a bunch of larger body decoys that seem to be some sort of fibre underneath with a resin coating.

I'm not much of a waterfowler, so curious to know if these have any real value to sell or if they're more suited to give away, or throw away.

Those would sell. The ones with the black backs/white fronts might be "iffy", though.

Thanks, those are the plastic ones and feel pretty junky, they have stands, I just go tired of setting them up. Any idea on what sort of value they may have?

Not really,,,,,being that they're old and not flocked you might get $60 a dozen. Our group of guys have pretty much switched over to just using silhouettes and socks as opposed to full bodies and half shells just for ease of not taking up much packing space and because they're so much lighter.
