IMO it is rather doubtful we will ever conclusively pinpoint the origin of CWD.
But one thing we can be sure of, it is here, it is lethal, and yes, we have a serious problem.
Might just be that the efforts around this disease should focus on what we should be doing to address it, rather than nebulous forays into 65 year old "possibilities".

I agree we will probably never know the true origin of CWD. But, you shouldn't be so flippantly dismissive of the possible scenarios that these guys have presented. They're entirely plausible. No way the government would every admit their role in all this either (regardless if it was deliberate or a mistake).

Right now, it seems to be generally accepted that it started at a research facility run by the University of Colorado and funded by the US Government. That's where the first case appeared. Make of it what you will.

Exactly. COVID taught him nothing. Unfortunately he's not alone as it seems lots of people have drifted right back to criticizing those that look past the accepted government/media narrative on pretty much everything.
