iirc Northern Rockies Air is no longer partnered with NRAdventures like they used to be
Based in Watson, they may do a p/up-d/off out of Muncho but it would be added leg(s) of the flight
but my info may not be the most current either so.....)
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

Simon Fraser had pretty good judgement on what he found in BC

Northern Rockies Air never was or has been partnered with Northern Rockies Adventures . Get you facts straight !
Northern Rockies Adventures used to be called Liard Tours till 2021 then Urs changed over to Northern Rockies Adventures which is all part of Muncho Lake Lodge group .

They sold one beaver several years ago the one they got from Black Sheep and as far as I know the piper is only used for Scoop Lakes uses.

Don't think for a second that calling another charter company will drastically save you cash. These guys run a business and they run margins that keep them profitable but they aren't gouging you. If they were there business would tank and they would be done. Its just the facts of life right now, it will never get cheaper, its inflation and reality. Still cheaper than what the US guys pay to come hunt here, be happy about that and figure it out or find a different means of transport.

I used to fly into cartmel in the Spatsizi in the 90’s for 350$ in 350$ out.
And 40cents a litre for diesel to drive to tattoga.
These trips would cost us, under 1000$ split 3 ways.
It’s fu**in expensive now 900 would be the fuel costs now to just drive to dease.
Glad I did it a lot when I was young. (Maybe explains my aching back and knees now) haha

Back in 1976 one could buy a Beaver on Floats with a halve time Engine for 36,000.** Canadian.
Now a Beaver Propeller by itself I am told cost 60,000.** Canadian.

    Cheers

Haha, yes I remember those days. I think our first flight in 91 was $700 return to Tuchodi for 4 of us. And it didn't change much until mid 2000's, even out of Dease or Watson. The road trip, guns, tags and supplies were what we spent our $$$ on. The flight was the cheap part! And we all made good $$$ back in those days!

Now I couldn't get my broken body half way up the hills.....glad I got to do it when I did!

    Cheers
