    Williams Lake Hunting

    Hi everyone,

I am planning an October deer hunt at Williams Lake this year for the first time, and have no prior experience in the area.
Can anyone please give some very high level advice on the areas that are good
    to hunt?
Not looking for anyone's secrets or very specific hunting grounds, just some really
high level direction. Like west of Williams Lake, south of Williams lake, get 20 miles north of the town, definitely not this area etc etc.

Trying to pin accommodation down and just trying to understand the area.
Any and all direction and advice very welcome!

    Thank you everyone!

    Niall

Maybe find accommodation first then find a area to close in on and ask questions? I don't know the area myself but you'll have to explore like many others.. There's good hunting all over but youll need to be close to HQ.

Make sure you have your passport handy to show the Natives when they stop and interrogate you,as to why you’re in their Nation.

Steven would say stay in WM lake and hunt all the roads from Horsefly to Quesnel lake hard. If no joy go south roads of Horsefly lake.
Antoine lake road has been good to me.

Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"
