14K North of the BobQuinn Airport

Just wondering if anyone has been up to the Bob Quinn Lake area this past year. There is a road on the west side of HWY 37 at approx 14km north of the airport, and I am wondering if its gated. I know the one right south of the airport is and is manned by security guards for the mine thats way back in there.

Sounds like the Galore Creek Mine entrance. That was a mine development started back in 2007. It was to be a 144km road into the mine site. Not sure what's up with the project now. The road would not take you that far in as there was going to be about 14 bridges built along the route. I worked there during the ramp up and left back in March of 2008.
