You be the Judge! Just passing shit along like every post on this site..If your happy with the original story, keep that happy thought
A bunch of rants on social media is now proof of something.
Like I said, wait to see what the REAL story is from official sources. But it’s ok to be enthralled with all the internet bitches screaming and pulling their hair out.
I hunt bucks in crown land directly adjacent to farm fields. That is my plan. To find bucks getting fat on hay and sleeping across the road in the bush. To get the bucks off the private to where they can be shot legally. Is that fair chase? Am i cheating? I put bait out trying to attract and keep bucks there in front of cameras. Legal, but fair chase? I just posted a few weeks ago about grunting a buck off a piece of private land on to my buddies land and shot the buck. Was that "wrong"?
You hunt where the animals are.
Nothing wrong at all in my opinion. The problem seems to start with our (humans) crazy need to share these things with strangers everywhere. Then we have to deal with all the predictable feedback, good and bad. It keeps us all talking and engaged, round and round ha ha.
Awesome bull. Hopefully legally taken. All the attention is extra and obviously wanted.
The issue isn’t with the method but with the way the story was told. It seems like the guy may have exaggerated the details to make himself sound like a more hardcore hunter than he actually was. The bull is still impressive, but the journey to get it might not have been as intense as he claimed.
Nothing wrong with truck-hunting, just don't pretend to be a badass mountain mam when you're not. That's pathetic.

I agree with the above comments. In a case like this the potential world record elk will be shown all through out the states and will be worth big bucks. And of course a story has to be told about the great hunt and stalk for such a trophy. Sad but for some hunters they are motivated by " $$$" and not by the trophy elk mount which hangs on their wall that they can admire many years later.
