I'll try some out. I switched to video for most of my cams. I find it's much cooler to watch the animals rub and eat and bang heads. I live close by though so easier for me to check em and make sure the batteries are working.

Anyhow the lithiums do not leak, and I leave mine out year round. Cameras on photos infront of licks of Elk and Deer thousands of pictures a year, my lithiums will last pretty well 2 years. They are also cold weather batteries too so dont have to worry about my interior cams dying through winter. I think you definitely save money though they are more expensive.
What lithium batteries are you running?
    Think, don't just have thoughts.

I run 12v 10ah lithiums for most of my cameras from October until April. They all run 10 sec videos and I will get 12000-15000 videos on the battery. I then switch to photo and buy Amazon/Energizer(Industrial and Max)/Duracell AA in bulk over the summer. I refuse to pay more than $.50/battery, so I shop around and stock pile. I just did an inventory and have 380AA batteries for the next few years.

And I have been slowly changing my cameras from a mix of Brownings, Simmons, Bushnell and Stealth Cam to Amazon cameras as they other ones die. They are cheap, work and if they break or walk, the bank isn't hit so hard. So far, no issue with the Amazon cams in the last two years.

    Cheers

Good idea switchin to cheap alkalines during the warmer months hadn't thought of that.

If these are the same ones a buddy recommended me from amazon and I think they probably are I may end up goin with them. So far cheapest I found muddys for are $50 bucks a piece, other than that havent looked around much yet and have not contacted the factory in china which will be my next step to try and do.

To add to the made in china website, my only experience is my mom bought me a Fluke multi meter off there as a gift 14-15 years ago. I still use it and I can't find anything about it that says it's not a real fluke. I have lots of them to compare it to at work and it has always read the same as all the calibrated ones we have.
I'd be willing to buy something off that site and see how it goes as a result.
