    My 2024 Baby Whitetail

I got out for one last kick at the cat to get something into the freezer and came upon this little guy. The whitetails have definitely become more plentiful in the area never even saw them there until about 10 years ago, even then you'd maybe see the odd one in a day of hunting. On this day I saw 9. Others were does and fawns. 000Buckshot at 50 yards. went down like a sack of potatoes. Not that big but he'll be nice and tender.

    Alli sure was excited

Love the smile on the face of Alli.
    Should be good eating.

Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because that’s the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

Perfect meat buck, he will be tasty! Did you shoot him in the head with the 00? Dropped in his tracks? The WT are an incredibly resilient, aggressive species that are taking over a lot of BC. Areas I previously hunted big Mulies are now void of them and covered in whitetail. Personally I enjoy whitetail a lot more but I just hope it doesn’t upset the balance of the land too much as they breed like rabbits

If you like WT with the bone in try processing your deer without bones. They'll be so much better because the bone doesn't taint the meat after being in the freezer for a year or two.
