    RF Binoculars

I want to get a set of RF binoculars. I have a $2000 budget. Anyone have experience behind the Vortex Fury model? I don't need the advanced AB calculations for bow hunting and my typical 150 yard rifle shots. Also open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance

I've played around with the Fury AB model, ranges a hell of a long ways and easy to use, glass was pretty nice. The non ballistic model won't be any different except lacking the ballistic stuff.

No experience with Vortex but I used a 8x42mm Leica Geovid HD-B 2000 for 6-7 years and it worked great. Excellent glass and RF with ballistics programs. I bought it as a “Demo” from cameralandny and at the time it was a great deal. With current exchange it may or may not be worth seeing what they have available.

No experience with these but GPO Rangeguide gets excellent reviews. Eg, John Barseness considers them the best RF bino for value and performance.

I've got a set, scored them for a deal around $850 if I recall last year. There're the non-ballistic 3000 series. no issues with them, only buggy thing is that you have to hold them 3-9 o'clock flat to get the rangefinder to work if you are using the HCD mode. Reticle is nice and bright, would be nice if the diopter and reticle focus adjustments locked.

Leica Geovid R, they’d be right at the top of your budget but you won’t find better glass with a very good laser

Have seen more Sig Sauer at matches than others in the past by a large margin, only comment has been about the image colour, clarity seems fine
Glad to say I have hunted Northern BC

Leica Geovid R and it’s not even close compared to the sig and vortex offerings.
