Nome Lake - 6-25 Mountain Goat

Curious if anyone has hunted Nome Lake in region 6-25. Specifically for Mountain Goats. Curious if there are indeed Goats around the Lake. Have heard a rumour there is, but cant find any confirmation.

Ive been to Nome

Never saw a goat off the lake or in the valleys to the north and west. No goat country to the south. Mountains aren't what I would call "goat country" around Nome. Great fishing, other than that, I wouldn't really recommend going to Nome for hunting. Little Nome maybe, or hiking days away sure. We got a moose on Nome, saw 1 bou, probably better late season for Bou, we were there in Sept

Hunted Jennings (next to Nome) and there was 3 goats up on the mountain to the east of the lake but nothing to the west towards Nome that I saw.
