Question for you guys. I got a group LEH. 4 guys. We are allowed to shoot 2 any bull moose. If one of the guys shoots a spikefork moose during open season for spikefork moose in that same area, does that count against the LEH tag? I'm assuming no, but his bag limit of 1 is now taken and he himself can no longer hunt for any moose. But the other 3 guys can still hunt 2 any bull moose. I want your guys opinion as well. I will call the Conservation office as well to confirm.

Yes but I understand the person who harvests the moose has to wear short shorts the rest of the trip so the co can readily identify him.

As others said, correct. My group got our 2, and I got a spike the next day. Checked by COs and all was good.

The answer is yes, but you shouldn't be allowed a spike fork at all if you have a group moose leh. That is a loophole they should close, leave the spike forks for the poor buggers that rarely get an leh draw. IMHO
