Late to the topic but I bought a pair of Maven 9x45 B2 and so far they are the best glass I have personally looked through. They have an Abbe-Koenig prism, not sure if thats what makes the difference but they sure are nice. Also just got my wife the zeiss conquest HD 10x42 for christmas for a great price and no major complaints other then the maven feel better in the hands.

10-40 Rubber armoured Zeiss work for me. Worn out and/or lost a couple but of course its old Technology. Some of the Swarovskies I saw lately are possible better in low light but I am to old now to change.

    Cheers

I have leica ultravids and love them but what got me hooked on leica was a pair of trinovid a friend had and they were really nice

Honestly, you can get a pair of ziess for under $1k that will do everything a pair of $1500 binos do. Get a good pair of entry level ($800-$1k) or keep saving and go top shelf. Don't waste the extra $1k for something that doesn't get you serious gains

Go onto Precision Optics website or call Omer. He will give you the straight goods, help you get what you need without wasting $$
