Missing Person from Langley - Van found up East Harrison

    Missing person from Langley.

Her van was found up East Harrison (looks like a spur road?)

They are looking for any dashcam or other video footage that might have captured the van along the way from Aldergrove to East Harrison (or even on east Harrison)
If anyone has any footage or other information, visit the group this is shared from and follow the reporting instructions there. If you don't have Facebook you can send me a PM and I will happily relay. Thanks!

That’s a long rough drive to that location. It always surprises me the types of vehicles I see up that way when I’m at work. Hope she’s ok

82 years old woman with 0 outdoor experience. I do not see she would survive. the number 1 rule is STOP. She should stay in the vehicle which will keep her alive for at least 2 weeks.

I highly doubt an 82 year old woman with no outdoor experience was actually driving the van up Harrison. The skid who stole it might have though. Hope she’s found alive, but odds are against it.

Something is not right with this story ! I’m not on Facebook so can’t read the events . My questions
What was she doing up there by herself ?
Does she do these type of excursions often ?
Does she have all of her faculties ?
Hope she is found safe ,very hard for family and friends

From what I gather, this type of excursion would have been out of character and there does not seem to be a history of dementia. Again this is just what I gather from reading all the FB posts, some from family and such, so take with a grain of salt.

The only reason I can think of for them to call for dashcam footage is to determine whether or not it was her driving the van and if she was the sole occupant. That is not to say that it wasn't just her driving, but ruling out or confirming possibilities is all part of investigating I would think.

As of yesterday afternoon, the search has been suspended.

240 members have read this thread so far and odds are some venture into that area or have a buddy who does and will keep an eye out for anything out of place.

Re: Missing Person from Langley - Van found up East Harrison

I stopped hunting up that way at the start of the pandemic because there were too many people, so hopefully they do manage to get some footage that helps.

I, like someone else mentioned, doubt that it was the woman driving. This seems more like a stolen vehicle that’s been ditched.
    Think, don't just have thoughts.

It should not be a foul play, IMO. the vehicle would have been burned to remove all the evidences.
