    Hi

Hi guys, I need a new app for navigating. I was using Fatmap because you could tilt the screen to see the contours of the land.
    But it's no longer available.
    Any suggestions...app or website?
    Thanks

I use the IHunter BC app. Great for tracking and marking waypoints plus the private property layer is great! Can't move it around and tilt which is a bummer. Also it can not show private land borders sometimes if there is no cell. Seems to lose layers sometimes. Overall its easy to use and worth the $25 a year.

You can load it on your computer at home as well and view it with your tracks.

    Re: Hi

I use Gaia. They were around before most of the others so i found them fist. now all my shit is in there, all my way points etc. and to "Test drive" another App is too much money. Its too bad it wasnt public info how old the maps are tho. that is my only complaint. But again, to test them all is too much money. but the functionality is fine.

    Re: Hi

I have the Basemap app, love it!
What i'm looking for is being able to find the contours/ small hills & valleys of a certain area. Mostly the hidden bedding areas for elk, the large bulls tend to use small benches with good visibility they like to bed on.
If you have used fatmap you'll know what i'm referring to.
Not sure if ihunter or google has the capability...

    Re: Hi

I'm curious if Gaia maps will tilt to see contours or just zoom in & out. I checked Outmap and it doesn't tilt
Looking for an app that will show mountain contours.

    Re: Hi

I use Gaia - For tracking, Waypoints, Maps including BRMB, satellite, Topo, MUs and LEH zones and occasionally historical fires. Its worht noting it has a feture that allows you to delete all your downloaded maps. You can then redownload them and get more up-to-date offline maps. IT does not automatically update your old downloaded maps.

I use hunt buddy for the Regs and its ability to tell you what GOS there is where youre standing in a nice clear screen. ITs also got some old tracks from before I uses Gaia

I use I hunter for the private land layer.

Elkrub, how do you tilt Gaia?

Google earth will definitely tilt for you when you have cell signal elkrub!

Has anyone who has used a bunch of these tried On X - any comparison points? Isnt there one called Hunt Stand? Anyone used that.
