They pulled the wool over his eyes, or something like that. Maybe the other way around.

I’m thinking he was captured by a Sasquatch and just making up a story since nobody will believe him anyway.

Heck I wish a Wolf would chase me! Of course I wouldnt be carrying a hiking stick.

Like someone said either way, good thing the kids okay. The other guy that went missing up there in the Peace, I believe it to be foul play and probably wont end well if it hasn't already.
