He barely lost any weight after 8 weeks in the wilderness, with limited to no food. Calories do not lie.

"The first RCMP release about Benastick went out on Oct. 21, describing him as an "avid hiker/camper" who had brought with him a tarp, an 85-litre backpack, and other camping supplies.

Those supplies, Crocker said, included a hatchet, a camp tarp, warm winter clothes and "a lot of peanut butter."

"He didn't go unprepared," she said in the Nov. 1 interview. "He's super smart ... He doesn't give up easy."

I’m thinking he was captured by a Sasquatch and just making up a story since nobody will believe him anyway.

Makes sense now why he emerged when he did. Swift concert time and he had tickets.

Glad the kid is alive but something really ain’t adding up on this story….

Heck I wish a Wolf would chase me! Of course I wouldnt be carrying a hiking stick.

Like someone said either way, good thing the kids okay. The other guy that went missing up there in the Peace, I believe it to be foul play and probably wont end well if it hasn't already.
